Mixed Berry French Toast with al fresco Apple Maple Breakfast Patty

Ingredients

  • 4 al fresco Apple Maple Breakfast Chicken Patties
  • 4 slices french bread
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup half & half cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon clover honey
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 ounce-weight fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in cast iron pan on the grill. Let it melt, but not brown.
  2. Melt the honey in the microwave for 10 seconds.
  3. Whisk the eggs, salt, honey, half & half, and milk together.
  4. Dip the bread in the egg mixture and completely cover. Let excess drip off the bread and add to frying pan. Brown on each side.
  5. Place a pot over the grill, mix the strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and sugar until they begin to liquify.
  6. Cook chicken sausage patties on grill. Plate, serve, enjoy.
